I began my thirty six year career in the Heating and Air Conditioning industry and gained early business knowledge first hand through design of systems, sales, building strategic alliances, and then managing a service division team for York International Corporation. The past eighteen years with York International formulated the approach I follow today,  always building a focused pragmatic business.  During this period I discovered a passion for developing others to be successful in their business context, prompted my move into management and organization development.

I add particular value by taking a strategic view and designing integrated approaches to ensure lasting change is achieved. I particularly enjoy working with multicultural groups and helping them develop the skills and knowledge to deal more effectively with the complexities their roles demand. I have been described as someone who demonstrates courage, independence and a desire to learn; who supports others and uses his intuition to develop individuals, teams and organizations with skills; and whose determination achieves results.  The strategy included a number of interventions including meeting key players from other organizations, guided interactions with front-line staff, workshops, action learning groups and coaching. The result was a greater understanding of what was required for success, and a commitment to delivering it.
